OurMed Family
Our Family Caring for Yours
At OurMed our goal is to provide quality health services and facilities for the patients of Central Alabama. We aim to promote wellness, relieve suffering, and restore health for patients as quickly and safely as possible in a compassionate environment focused on customer service.
Every one of our physicians has completed extensive education and clinical training as well as specialized training in their area(s) of expertise. They are board-certified professionals who hold memberships and fellowships in many professional organizations.
Driven to constantly improve their knowledge and the services they provide, our physicians frequently attend conferences and society meetings to learn about the latest advancements in the field and offer these techniques and technologies to our patients. In all of these ways and more, we are able to provide our patients with the highest quality of care.
Dr. Curtis Estes McLemore was raised in Corinth, Mississippi. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1985. After medical school, Dr. McLemore entered a three year Family Medicine Residency at the University of Alabama School of Community Health Sciences in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. During his residency, he met and married Tanya Goodson of Brent, Alabama in August of 1987. After residency, Dr. McLemore began work in urgent care in Montgomery and has continued this work for nearly 28 years. He is excited about his new position as one of the two physicians at Our Med.
"I am looking forward to continuing to work with Dr. Muller. We have worked so well together over the last 16 years. We are like minded in our approach for treating our patients. Dr. Muller is truly concerned about the well-being of his patients. He is an excellent doctor, and I know because I have used him personally."
"We have a great group of specialists in our Montgomery area. We at Our Med will be able to expedite referrals needed by our patients to these specialists. I often am asked by my patients that need referrals, who I would send my family to see if they needed to see a specialist. I always tell them that our group of specialists are very competent doctors and I would use any of them myself."
Dr. Muller is originally from Winter Park, Florida. He married his wife Alecia McGaughy, a native of Montgomery, in 1984. After finishing medical school in Miami, Florida at Southeastern University, he and his wife moved to Montgomery, where Dr. Muller completed his residency at UAB Montgomery Internal Medicine Residency Program.
"I truly believe that the relationships with the local physicians and hospitals that developed through my Residency Training here in Montgomery has allowed me to be a better liaison for my patients when they need certain specialists, imaging studies, or hospitalization. Those relationships allow me to remove the barriers and provide much better and streamlined access to medical care for the patient. That is my mission."
Immediately after completing his residency training, Dr. Muller joined forces with Dr. McLemore and they have been working side by side for over 16 years. "Curt and I have so much in common. We have the same style of patient interaction, we think the same way with our treatment plans, and we have always just seemed to compliment each other at the clinics. He and I have always said that if we ever decide to go out on our own that we would practice together. He is a fine man, a superb physician, and I am thrilled to have him join me in this new practice."
Dr. Muller and his wife have raised 4 sons, and their youngest son, Clayton, is a senior at Montgomery Academy, and will be attending Auburn University in the fall. They attend attend First Baptist Church Montgomery where they were married.
